Marc S. Harrison
Marc S. Harrison is a founding partner at Harrison & Harrison and loves every minute of being an attorney. He

Marc’s legal career started at the Attorney General’s Chambers where he worked closely with senior counsel and
learned as much as possible from them. He worked in the Commercial Division, drafting and vetting contracts for
the Government of Jamaica and advising Government departments and bodies. He also represented Jamaica in
International Capital Market Bond Issues and in both domestic and international commercial litigation matters. Marc
later worked in the International Division of the Chambers where he provided legal advice on Bilateral and
Multilateral Trade Agreements, worked on International Treaties and advised on other international matters.
In 2002, Marc moved to the private sector and accepted the post of General Counsel and Compliance Officer at
Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited. His responsibilities covered the entire JMMB group of companies so he
liaised with both local and overseas regulatory bodies, ensured compliance with relevant legislation, represented
the company in court proceedings and advised on all legal matters. He was also Company Secretary.
Marc Harrison is now Harrison & Harrison’s lead commercial attorney. His areas of focus include securities,
structured finance and contracts. Our commercial clients enjoy working with Marc because he understands
